Double Take — Comforter Coat

This coat is made from a reclaimed Ralph Lauren comforter. It’s lofty, warm, and substantial — the kind of insulation you feel immediately when you put it on.

The material was challenging to work with by nature. It’s thick, padded, and doesn’t behave politely. The result is a coat with real structure and warmth, not a delicate finish.

The front features a double row of snaps. Originally unintended, it ended up working better this way — more coverage, more flexibility in fit, and a closure that feels solid and functional.

Unlined by design. The comforter provides all the insulation needed. Interior seams are serged for durability and longevity.
